Studio Support Volunteer

Artbox Frome

Name: Studio Support Volunteer
Organisation: Artbox Frome
Location: HUBnub Centre, Whittox Lane, Frome, BA11 3BY
Type: Part Time
We ask our volunteers to sign up to dates which they are available to volunteer at the studio sessions for. There is no minimum commitment or expectation for a certain regularity in dates that you can attend. We ask that you give at least two weeks notice if you are unable to make a date you have previously signed up for.

Artbox Frome works with artists with learning disabilities to create exhibit and sell their art.

We are looking for creative individuals to help out at our studio sessions on a Saturday.

This will involve supporting our artists to explore different mediums and artistic techniques. Our studio sessions are a fun, relaxed and social environment where our artists can develop their own individual style.

We welcome volunteers who are able to provide positive support and guidance to people with learning disabilities. Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities is not required, just an understanding of the barriers they may face and an enthusiasm to help change this.
