Description
Would you like to help support Frome Toy Library? The service allows families to borrow toys and games, and also runs stay and play sessions. Sessions are held weekly on Tuesdays in Portway Church (on the Lidl's roundabout) from 9.30am to 3pm and on Wednesdays in Frome Library from 1 - 3pm. The sessions are run by an experienced provider and cater for pre-school children and their parents, together with older home schooled children, and older siblings during school holidays. We are looking for people who would be interested in supporting the stay and play sessions for around 2 hrs per week and for admin support of no more than 1 hr per week. Duties could include welcoming families to the sessions, running the snack shop, supervising play while the main provider has lunch, helping with the inventory, admin, etc. No previous experience is necessary although an enthusiasm for working with children and families would be welcome! A DBS will be necessary, which we can arrange. We also provide safeguarding training.
