Our charity shops play an important role in raising money to help homeless and vulnerably housed people to access shelter, food, help and support in the Bath area.

This new shop in Frome has a selection of books, clothes, music, DVDs, toys and homeware. We are a vibrant shop and welcome volunteers of all ages and experience to help with a variety of jobs, from customer service to sorting books and clothes, through to designing advertising campaigns and promotions.

We pride ourselves on offering a great service in a well presented customer friendly environment.

Open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.00pm.

Skills and Qualifications Required
No formal qualifications are required – just enthusiasm!

Skill Development

Many people find volunteering in our shops a useful route back into work as it increases confidence and helps you get back into a routine. We also aim to develop customer service skills in a friendly yet professional environment.

Volunteering in our shops is also a great way to get out and meet new people while doing something active for a great cause and in your local community!

Other Information

Volunteers should be prepared to commit to at least one (you can do more!) half day shift a week.

Organisation Description

A homeless support and prevention charity working to empower the socially excluded and homeless by supporting them into sustainable and independent lives. From a homeless hostel and outreach in Bath, to Women's refuges across BANES, to Criminal Justice rehabilitation we work in a dynamic way to provide services to those who need them.

Charity Shops provide a vital source of income for our projects and our shop in Frome is always looking for volunteers.

Volunteering in our shops can be a great way of getting out and into your local community. You will be supported by a friendly and welcoming team and tasks range from customer service to processing donations.

We have a large selection of fashion, homeware and books to suit all interests
