One half day a week - hours by arrangement. Probably Monday, Tuesday or Friday
Fair Frome is looking for someone who can spare a few hours a week working for the new furniture bank - a scheme that collects donated furniture and small electrical items and delivers to referred clients. The Volunteer will need to be an experienced driver over 25 with a clean licence, used to driving a long wheel base van and lifting heavy items.
The person should also support the aims and ethos of Fair Frome and be a 'people' person, able to deal empathetically with people undergoing difficult periods in their lives.
We anticipate this would entail doing a half day a week, hours by arrangement.
Fair Frome champions greater financial, educational, social and health equality for people living in Frome and the surrounding areas. We work alongside communities, families, individuals, volunteers, partner agencies and other stakeholders to create joined up, sustainable services, support innovation, raise awareness of the issues of poverty and increase participation across Frome.

Regular volunteering with a great like-minded team who are passionate about what they are doing.
